The new model has a new front-end, distinguishing the revised model from its predecessor. Changes within the line-up include the debut of a new range-topping Animal Double Cab and the addition of an all-new L200 Warrior Club Cab.

The L200 Animal Double Cab has undergone a complete makeover gaining new 18 inch alloy wheels, new black leather seats with 'Animal' branding and a more distinctive image with three monotone body colour choices of starlight silver, cosmos black and a new titanium grey.

Standard equipment includes Smartnav satellite navigation, engine power upgrade to 138bhp, air conditioning, ABS with EBD, illuminated blue Animal logo door entry guards, plus a JVC DAB digital radio/CD which also offers MP3 and WMA playback.

The L200 Animal Double Cab will be priced at £19,999 on-the-road.

The L200 Warrior Double Cab gets upgraded for 2005 and will be priced at £15,699 OTR with standard ABS and EBD plus new design 16 inch 6-spoke alloy wheels and the additional choice of new titanium grey body colour.

The Warrior family of 4x4 vehicles has proven very popular with the buying public accounting for 54% of L200 Double Cab sales in 2004.

Also retained for 2005 is the 4Life Double Cab, Mitsubishi’s original lifestyle pick-up. Newly equipped with ABS and EBD and front fog lights, it will be priced at £15,499 OTR.
