BMW has announced that it will be exhibiting at the British International Motor Show at its new home in London’s Docklands next year.

But the firm has warned that the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, which organises the event, must ‘seize the initiative’ and put on a show worthy of the attention of international exhibitors, journalists and visitors.

BMW had been critical of the past two shows held at the NEC in Birmingham and as a result the manufacturer had not attended either event.
