Renault’s Clio family offering will grow when the Sport Tourer version goes on sale next spring in the UK.

Based on the hatchback, the Sport Tourer features a longer body with increased boot space to appeal to drivers who are focused on “leisure pursuits”.

The extra boot space – up from 170 litres to 439 – should also appeal to fleets wanting a smallish car with decent load volume, much in the same way as Peugeot markets its 207 SW model.

The Sport Tourer makes its debut at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
