The Ford Transit SportVan is now available in white with blue stripes.

Previously it only been sold in blue with white stripes.

Ford says the limited edition van has been created for customers ‘who want to make a bold statement’.

The model is based on the Transit 260 SWB with front wheel drive, the 140bhp 2.2-litre TDCi diesel engine and a six-speed transmission.

The exterior features white paintwork, blue bonnet stripes, twin exhausts, 18-inch alloy wheels, low profile tyres, front and rear lower spoilers, side skirts and extended wheel arches.

Ford of Britain’s commercial vehicle director, Steve Kimber, said: “The first Performance Blue Transit SportVan has been an enormous success, with more than 1,000 sold in 18 months.

"Transit SportVan is all about style and individuality and hits a sweet spot with many of our customers.”

The SportVan is priced from £22,030 – a premium of £2,500 over a similarly-powered, non-SportVan variant.

After four years and 80,000 miles, the SportVan will be worth £725 more.
