A new online transportation exchange where anyone from a courier to a freight haulage service can log on for free to find shipments and delivery quotes has been launched in the United Kingdom.

A spokesman for the new service, Anyvan.com, said: “ If you are travelling back from your delivery destination with an empty back load, doing a house move or just experiencing a quiet period at work, Anyvan.com will keep you up to date with all the shipments that match your criteria – allowing you to take on more deliveries whenever you want.”

Anyvan.com is free to use to find local, national or international jobs. The site then charges a minimal success fee once the job has been secured.
