Appointed to maintain Chevin’s commitment to providing complete customer satisfaction, whilst ensuring continued business growth, Finbarr Stewart has been appointed as the new UK and Ireland account manager and will be responsible for overseeing 150 public and private sector clients, including HSE National Ambulance, City Facilities and Business Post. Stewart will be the first point of contact for clients on a range of new and existing projects, from new implementations of Chevin’s flagship web-based application, FleetWave, to ongoing technical support and upgrades.

Previously responsible for business development in Ireland, Stewart will be harnessing his market knowledge and in-depth fleet management operations experience across the wider territory. Commenting on his recent promotion, Stewart said: “It’s a really exciting time to be working with one of the leading fleet management software providers at a time when many organisations are looking for new ways to cut costs and improve efficiencies. I’m looking forward to the challenge of my new role with Chevin and hope to contribute significantly to the goal of market consolidation in the UK and Ireland marketplace.”

Karan Ridgard, operations director of Chevin Fleet Solutions added: “It’s a difficult and uncertain time for businesses in the UK and Ireland, with reduced spending posing a significant threat to sustainability. Yet we’ve seen an increase in organisations from the public, private and third sectors looking to invest in efficiencies today, to save money tomorrow. A well managed fleet can make the difference between coping with a harsh economic climate and excelling through one. Finbarr’s promotion represents the next step in Chevin’s growth plans for the UK and Ireland regions and continued high standards of customer service delivery.”
