Positive Outcomes, which has offices across the UK, including Birmingham, London, Edinburgh and Bristol, has added the new Vauxhall Corsas to keep pace with the growing demand from public and private sector organisations for its specialist work-based training and recruitment service. The new cars will be used by the company’s Training and Learning Advisors and Business Development Managers as they work with clients across the UK. The total order is made up of 30 low-emission 1.3CDTi ecoFLEX five-door hatchbacks with Start/Stop, and three 1.2i 16v VVT petrol five-door models with Easytronic automatic gearbox – all specified in Exclusiv trim.
Emitting 95g/km the 1.3CDTi Corsa ecoFLEX is one of the cleanest and most fuel-efficient hatchbacks on sale today, something the company was keen to ensure from its new fleet as Positive Outcomes’ contracts manager Paul Blackshaw, explains: “In addition to providing a safe, reliable and cost effective solution to assist and protect our employees travelling as part of their work, we wanted to reduce our carbon footprint and demonstrate an awareness of our employer responsibility to the environment. In my view, the Corsa models we have chosen offer the best available solution for our employees, the needs of the business, and the environment.”
Each new vehicle is specified with a range of optional extras including Bluetooth, to enable employees to safely stay in contact when necessary. All 33 cars are finished with metallic paint for a more attractive appearance and stronger residual values.
Mr Blackshaw added: “An additional key consideration behind selecting the Vauxhall Corsa has been that many of our new recruits are aged in their early 20’s. As Corsa’s target market, we felt this would increase the connection we make with our clients.
“Our chosen leasing company, JCT600 in Bradford, have made this venture possible by working closely with both Vauxhall and ourselves. We have been pleased with the service so far and hope to develop the relationship further to ensure any additions to our growing fleet are equally ideal.”
