North of England repairers were awarded the top three prizes in the annual bodyshop “Oscars” run by accident management provider WNS Assistance.

The ‘Gold’ award went to the Stoneacre Group, based in Doncaster, with ‘Silver’ going to Perfect Finish of Bolton and ‘Bronze’ to Benfield Accident Repair Centre of Newcastle.

The top 40 ‘Gold Standard’ bodyshops from within WNS’s national network of 300+ repairers were invited to the awards ceremony.
The awards are intended to draw attention to WNS’s development of an internal standard for its repairers that rewards quality of service with increased throughput.

The programme measures several elements of each repair such as average downtime, overall repair life cycles and customer satisfaction.

“Our Gold Standard guarantees a high level of work as we currently carry out around 180,000 repairs per annum,” explained WNS managing director Tim Rankin. “This has enabled our star performers to grow and grow. Our “Oscars” style award ceremony provides an extra incentive, the icing on the cake, for all WNS network repairers to enjoy national recognition as the crème de la crème of their trade.”
