Cambridge based company, International Fleet Services (IFS), has appointed Mycompanyfleet to provide the fleet management systems it needs to help administer client fleets.
IFS operates in 32 countries, primarily in Europe, the US and Far East, through a series of partnerships with national leasing companies. However, in the last 24 months, IFS has evolved to become more client-facing and provide fleet management services through direct relationships with end-user fleets, including leased, rented and owned vehicles.
This change in business strategy prompted a requirement for a flexible, scalable, web-delivered fleet management solution which could be provided as ‘software as a service’ to deliver efficiencies and economies of scale to fleet clients.
IFS commercial director Maurice Bond said: “It is the ideal platform for us to be able to manage not just client vehicles, but to administer other services including finance, insurance and fleet administration, as well as delivering cost and other efficiencies to customers.”
