ING Car Lease has expanded its operation with the appointment of Scott Neilson as account manager who will oversee the development of ING Car Lease’s new salary sacrifice offering for customers.
Neilson joins ING Car Lease with over ten years of fleet industry experience, he most recently worked at Masterlease where he implemented the organisation’s salary sacrifice scheme for both public and private sector clients.
Neilson comments: “I am really excited about my new role at ING Car Lease, not only because the company has such a strong ethos on delivering for customers, but because I can fully utilise my experience in the area of salary sacrifice schemes. This will be a whole new offering from ING Car Lease to customers and one which can bring them real benefits.
“Salary sacrifice is somewhat of a buzz word within organisations and the fleet industry at the moment and that’s not without good reason. It is a tried and tested employee benefit that really works for employers and employees alike. What’s more, salary sacrifice is a means by which employers can ensure they are meeting their health and safety obligations as staff will be driving new vehicles which are inherently safer and will be regularly serviced.
“We are working to bring the scheme to customers with full functionality online, so employees using the system will have greater flexibility and instant access to information.”
Commenting on the appointment, Paul Ormerod, director of sales at ING Car Lease, said: “Scott Neilson’s appointment is key for the business and ensures we are maintaining our commitment to being a leader in the leasing industry when it comes to customer service and product offering. In developing a salary sacrifice scheme for customers we further emphasise our drive to ensure we stay at the top of the fleet management sector in the UK.”
