Cardinus Risk Management is offering free risk management services to small businesses.
Companies in Wessex will be first to benefit as Cardinus becomes a patron of the Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce. Cardinus will now look at the viability of rolling out similar services to other chambers across the country and would welcome approaches from member companies who would like to assist in the offer.
Commenting on the partnership with Wessex, Andy Hawkes, CEO of Cardinus said, “This is an exciting partnership for Cardinus as it coincides with the launch of our new on-line risk management portal, dedicated to small to mid-sized companies. Cardinus has built a leading position as a provider of health and safety, environment, fleet and property risk solutions in the UK and more recently in the US to large businesses, and central and local government and we felt the time was right to develop our solutions for smaller firms.”
As part of the patronage, Cardinus will provide all Wessex Association members with a dedicated risk management web portal that provides lots of free advice, guidance, templates and a unique “Ask the Experts” feature. In addition, each member will receive a free voucher worth £100 to access to an array of online e-learning and risk assessment tools. The real difference to other providers is that the member can buy as little or as much as is required. Cardinus believes that clients should be able to buy on a “pay as you go” basis rather than be locked into an expensive three or five year contract.
Don Oakley of Wessex member Chesham Oakley said, “We have worked very closely with Cardinus, recommending them to our clients and were pleased to be able to introduce them to the Wessex Association. The benefits of applying risk management can include better insurance terms as insurers react positively to investment in risk as well as ensuring you meet duty of care regulations.”
Michael Williams MBE, CEO of Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce said, “We are delighted that Cardinus has joined our impressive list of patrons and we look forward to working with them on a number of initiatives to help our members understand and manage risk within their businesses.”
