In-vehicle telematics is fast becoming the ‘must have’ fleet management tool to help businesses cut operating costs, comply with at-work driving safety best practice and improve productivity.

Newcastle-based leasing and fleet management provider Fleet has launched a special offer on its newly developed FleetTrak telematics technology.

During September and October, Fleet is offering free in-vehicle installation of its GPS-based telematics system. FleetTrak prices start at £19.99 per month and contracts can be cancelled with just 28 days notice.

The company, which bills itself as the ‘biggest fleet company you have never heard of’, manages a fleet of 4,000 company cars and vans, runs back office systems for a number of major players in the leasing industry and now offers its services directly to businesses and consumers. Customers include Newcastle United Football Club.
