The start of a new year marks a refocus from Jaguar’s corporate business in the UK. Over the past four years Jaguar has revitalized its line-up and now a bespoke corporate offering is more appropriate – both to the Jaguar business and the corporate sector. As of January 2011 Jaguar will be streamlining its terms from to reflect the scale of its business, with introduction of bespoke terms. These will replace the existing terms which were suited to the previous X-Type business.
David Lewis, national sales director, Jaguar UK said: “Jaguar works on a different scale to its competitors - many of which operate in a far more diverse market. The new corporate strategy is more concise to reflect this. The move is a consolidation and simplification of the Jaguar business and is in keeping with the premium niche nature of the brand and its products.”
He added: “There will be an increased focus on Contract Hire and Leasing interaction, with a new field-based appointment to better develop relationship and opportunities with the brand. We want to cater for different types of corporate businesses in different ways. The Jaguar corporate team is also aware that the business is about developing and sustaining relationships as well as offers and will be working to reflect this.”
Through a targeted approach, existing customers registered with Jaguar and who show and intent to purchase Jaguar product will be given the opportunity to benefit from bespoke terms to create a package that suits them.
Jaguar will also continue to support its own ‘in house’ Jaguar Contract Hire offers which will be available through the whole dealer network.
