Alphabet has appointed All Fleet Services (AFS) to administer its service booking and downtime management services, with the aim of helping the company achieve a 22% reduction in vehicle downtime.

Operating in 13 countries, Alphabet currently manages over 47,000 vehicles in the UK and supplies over 320,000 vehicles worldwide.

Matt Sutherland, head of Vehicle Operations at Alphabet, said: “We were impressed with the way All Fleet Services put us in the driving seat, through complete transparency of costs and operations.

"The call centre has the right combination of people, with the right skills to work with us to achieve our objectives.

"Not only will the new partnership help to drive costs down, it will also enable us to provide a better service to our driver base.”

Steve Law, fleet account manager at All Fleet Services, added: “We are confident we can deliver the high service levels Alphabet’s customers are accustomed to and make the service, repair and MOT process more convenient for drivers.”
