Genus Vehicle Solutions is celebrating its tenth year in business with a move to brand new premises in Bury St Edmunds.

As well as providing extra office space, the company’s new headquarters also features secure indoor storage and a handover area.

Directors Tony Davis and Alan Beckett spent 20 years working in car dealerships when in 2001 they decided to start the company.

“We decided to concentrate on the quality of service and searching for the best car at the best price for every client,” said Davis.

Genus has also built a solid reputation with local companies, providing fleet cars and offering free expert advice on motoring efficiency, fuel emissions and company car tax implications.

The company is looking to create more local jobs with the launch of a fleet management service aimed at businesses, but even with the latest technology Beckett says it still comes down to good old fashioned customer service.

“We have survived and thrived on our industry knowledge, personal service and getting the best deal for every single customer – that’s what we want Genus to be known for,” said Beckett.
