Since being awarded a place on the Government procurement service framework agreement earlier this year, Škoda UK has proven popular with its users.

The brand has amassed more than 5,700 quotes from public sector fleet users in just six months and boosted sales and orders by more 15%.

New clients include the Environment Agency, Herts Urgent Care, Northumberland County Council and Priory Central Services.

The service includes organisations such as the National Health Service (NHS), emergency services, local authorities and government ministries and has been designed to provide procurement savings for all organisations in the public sector market.

Martin Burke, Head of Fleet Sales at Škoda UK, said: “We strive to impress all of our fleet customers with cars that offer a blend of high specification, low running costs, high standards of quality and excellent environmental performance.

“The whole life costs of our vehicles are very impressive, whilst the low CO2 emissions reduce tax payments and our economic engines cut fuel bills.”
