Thrifty Car and Van Rental has bolstered its training team with the appointment of an additional training manager, Chris Dedman, ensuring the company’s continual commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Chris will be working within the training team to refresh the company’s induction programme, provide guidance on customer services skills and sales techniques, as well as deliver bespoke courses on important areas such as health and safety.
Having worked for Thrifty Car and Van Rental for more than 10 years, Chris has an in-depth understanding of what is expected to maintain consistently high quality service. His previous roles in the call centre, as a customer service representative and a branch manager give Chris an appreciation for the skills required in an array of customer-facing positions to ensure the training provided by the company is as effective as possible.
Linda Paul from Thrifty Car and Van Rental comments: “The feedback from our customers is always really positive so maintaining the high standard is vital, which is why we have appointed Chris as a dedicated training manager to strengthen our team. This way we are ensuring new recruits are fully briefed and adequately skilled before they start to interact with customers. In addition, it’s also important that staff are supported on an ongoing basis, so Chris will be focused on delivering refresher courses to maintain our reputation as an approachable and professional company to do business with.”
