ALK Technologies has announced that its enterprise GPS navigation application, CoPilot Live Professional, is now in use by over 125,000 commercial drivers.

CoPilot Live Professional is a combination of navigation software and developer services that allows integration with 3rd party mobile worker applications. It has already been deployed by many of Europe’s most technologically innovative fleets in the postal, home delivery, utilities transport and logistics sectors, as well as by a leading roadside assistance company and private hire taxi providers.

Popular functions include automation of destination entry, route optimisation and navigation display, as well as real-time access to vehicle location and estimated time of arrival (ETA) information.

By integrating CoPilot Live Professional, enterprises are able to achieve a return on investment through reducing mileage, improved customer service and avoiding capital expenditure on dedicated navigation devices.

Recent examples of customers who have deployed CoPilot Live Professional include: Royal Mail Group, The AA, Addison Lee, DPD, EDF France, Daimler Fleetboard and Total Oil.
