Škoda UK is welcoming two new additions to its fleet sales team, with the appointment of John Burton and Liz Johnson as fleet sales managers.

In their new positions, Burton will work for the East Midlands and North West regions, while Johnson will cover East Anglia, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

Burton, from Stamford in Lincolnshire, joined the Škoda UK team in May 2011, having previously worked in IT leasing for CHG Meridian Capital. Johnson, from Solihull in the West Midlands, also joined the company in May having worked at Peugeot for the past 10 years.

Within their new roles, they will be focusing on businesses that have a fleet size in excess of 30 vehicles. Their responsibilities will include growing awareness of the Škoda brand within their regions and continuing the already strong sales growth being experienced by the brand within the fleet market.

In addition, staff member Jane Roxburgh has been promoted to fleet relationship manager. In her new role, Jane will be responsible for Škoda UK’s ‘Fit for Fleet’ initiative, which provides tailored support and training for specialist fleet retailers to help them develop their business growth.

Roxburgh will be succeeded by Emma Williamson who moves into the role of agency supply manager, working within the leasing company and contract hire sector of the business.
