Andy Stuart has been appointed to the role of planning and strategy manager for Volkswagen fleet services.
He succeeds Trevor Phillips who has taken on a new position within the ŠKODA brand of the Volkswagen Group.
Stuart, 36, joined the Volkswagen Group in 1998 as a graduate trainee. He has held a number of roles and is no stranger to the Volkswagen fleet services team, having previously worked as a regional fleet manager for the north of England.
He has also been a regional brand manager, focussing on sales and aftersales business within the Volkswagen retailer network.
More recently, his role of brand relationship manager has been fundamental in seeing improvements in customer experience.
He said: “I’m really pleased to be returning to the fleet team. I know a lot will have changed since I was last here but I’m looking forward to the new challenge and to working with my colleagues to improve planning and supply issues for our fleet customers.”
Vince Kinner, head of Volkswagen fleet services, added: “This year will be one in which we consolidate a number of new projects and processes and start driving forward really positive change for our customers.
“I’m delighted to welcome Andy back on board to work with the team at this time. Trevor has done a great job and I wish him all the best for the future.”
