A twentieth anniversary of Honda’s legendary Fireblade will be celebrated at the upcoming MCN London Motorcycle Show, with examples of one of all twenty incarnations of the ‘game-changing’ sports bike being displayed on the Honda stand during the show at ExCel in London, from 2-5 February.
From the original 1992 CBR900RR, through to the first fuel injected machine at the turn of the century - the first 1000cc incarnation in 2004 and right up to the latest 2012 CBR1000RR machine - the Fireblade’s rich lineage will be paid homage to in fitting manner.
Also on display will be a replica of possibly one of the most iconic race bikes in existence, the Honda ‘Six’ RC174. It was on this bike that Mike Hailwood took the 1967 350cc World Championship title, forever etching the legend into the history books.
As well as the latest Fireblade, Honda’s stand will feature a range of new 2012 machinery, including what has been dubbed the most ‘innovative middle-weight of the year’, the NC700X, plus new Vision 50 and Vision 110 scooters, alongside the newly revised and renowned GL1800 Gold Wing.
