The first trio of recruits to Ogilvie Fleet’s graduate recruitment and training programme have passed and they were each handed the keys to their new company cars -Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi Zetec ECOnetic five-door models.

Ogilvie Fleet launched the scheme at the beginning of 2012 in partnership with the UK’s leading graduate sales assessment, sales recruitment and sales training organisation Pareto Law.

The first graduates - Phil Regan, Oliver Rudd and Ben Taylor - have now been appointed trainee area managers, although they will continue their training on the job and with further courses to attend until June 30 next year.

Ogilvie Fleet national sales manager Ashley Crookes said: “As trainee area managers, the trio have been allocated territories of their own. They will be making their own appointments, although they will be accompanied by either myself or an area manager, with the objective of winning new business.

“While they have graduated, training will continue over the next nine months with attendance at further Pareto Law and BVRLA courses.”
