A low-cost approved breathalyser kits for drivers planning journeys in France are once again available from Cardinus Risk Management.

Cardinus introduced the breathalyser kits during the summer and sold out due to unexpectedly high demand.

From July 1, 2012 drivers in France have had to carry a breathalyser kit with them and from November drivers and motorcyclists risk a €11 (£12)  fine for failing to comply.

Cardinus Risk Management is again offering ‘NF-approved’ (the norme Francais standard) breathalyser kits from just £3.50 plus post and packing.

A twin-pack, recommended so that you can use one breathalyser and still meet the legal requirement to carry one, costs just £4.99. Larger quantities are available for fleet operators who wish to provide them for all drivers.
