Beerhouse Self Drive Hire has won a new, three year contract with Bishop Burton College. The contract is to supply six new minibuses featuring the College’s corporate colours and full branding. The minibuses will be used for student-orientated activities including academic trips, vocational and well-being activities.

“Whilst price is an important factor when choosing a rental company, we decided early on in the process that we were looking for a supplier who would support us and provide a comprehensive customer service package too,” said Dave Neve, transport manager for Bishop Burton College.

“We approached several local and national companies during the pitching process but finally decided to opt for Beerhouse based upon their flexibility and back up service. Should anything happen to a vehicle, Beerhouse will drop off a replacement at short notice so any impact to the college and our students is minimal.

“This level of customer service is essential when managing the transport for a busy College. We have already worked with Beerhouse on a previous contract, which made us confident they were up to the job. The new vehicles will be with us and in use by November.”

Phil Moses, director of Beerhouse Self Drive Hire, comments: “We are proud to be continuing our work and to be associated with a leading specialist college as a result of the added value services we provide. The support package we offer includes ongoing maintenance, pick-up and drop off of vehicles and a fast, flexible approach to problem solving.

“It’s great to have beaten off stiff competition, which proves our ability to offer a service over and above our national competitors.”
