Honda will launch two new variants of the Civic, both to be built at its factory in the UK.
The Civic Type R and the Civic Wagon model, an estate version of Honda's latest Civic will be produced at its Swindon plant for UK customers and export to other markets.
Development and design of the Civic Wagon has been conducted in Europe.
Honda currently builds the Jazz in the UK (as well as in other factories), but the next-generation model due in 2014 will be produced outside Europe.
The European CR-V model will continue to be produced int he UK alongside the Civic and its new variants as well as Honda's new 1.6-litre diesel engine.
