E-Training World has extended its portfolio with a new system for minibus drivers.
The web-based driver profiling tool covers four key sections: attitude, knowledge, concentration and observation, and hazard perception.
“We’re delighted to be able to offer yet another addition to our range of services,” said Graham Hurdle, managing director of E-Training World, who points out that for any organisation operating a minibus the implications of poor driving, or an accident, are very serious – in terms of the safety of the passengers, the legal implications on the organisation operating the minibus (if they haven’t complied with their legal obligations) as well as their reputation.
“A comprehensive assessment and training is important because minibuses are often driven by volunteers or people who generally drive a car and only occasionally drive a minibus. Drivers are responsible not only for themselves but also for the safety of a number of passengers and sometimes these will be young or vulnerable people.
“Driving a minibus is a very different experience to a car and the E Training World risk assessment is geared towards the attitude and knowledge required to be safe and legal,” explains Hurdle.
