Puricore International Ltd has taken delivery of 11 new Vauxhall Zafira Diesel Estates, to be used by their field engineers, following a review of their company car policy.

Annie Tudor, fleet manager at Stafford based Puricore said “We wanted a solution that met the needs of the company but was also fair on our drivers. Our engineers have been driving Estate Vehicles but our Operations team informed us that they were no longer fit for purpose in terms of load space. The obvious thing to do was to look at vans but we knew this wouldn’t be received well by our engineers who were accustomed to driving cars. As a result we conducted a thorough review, working closely with our fleet partner Fleethire and assessed all options open to us. After much evaluation we settled on the Vauxhall Zafira as the vehicle of choice. We concluded that it offered the necessary load space as well as providing our engineers with a flexible vehicle they could use when not at work”.

Paul Jenkins, relationship director at Fleethire “We are delighted to have delivered the first of 11 new Zafiras to be used for Puricore’s field operations. Puricore is an extremely valued customer of Fleethire and we are pleased to have worked so closely with them when they reviewed their car policy. Fleethire advocates a partnership approach with our customers and we will be pro-active in continuing to advise Puricore regarding their fleet policy going forward”.

Gary Bird, fleet sales manager at Vauxhall expressed his delight that Puricore had opted for the Zafira “We are thrilled that Puricore have opted for the Zafira. Although designed as a People Carrier, the Zafira is a versatile vehicle, as Puricore have demonstrated with their choice”.
