Bridgestone Europe has started supplying Volvo Car Corporation with original equipment tyres after securing its first partnership with the Swedish manufacturer.
Delivery of Turanza T001’s for the new Volvo V40 5-door hatchback and Dueler tyres for the Volvo XC60 are both set to begin during May 2012.
Edwin van der Stad, director, sales, consumer business unit, Bridgestone Europe said:
“Bridgestone is delighted to start working with Volvo and supplying tyres for the V40 and XC60. The two companies share similar values on safety and concern for the environment.”
Launched in March 2012, the premium Turanza T001 is Bridgestone’s new flagship touring tyre.
