The Skoda UK Fleet Sales team successfully clocked up 100km in the London 2 Brighton Challenge in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Setting off from the start line in Richmond at 10.45am on Saturday 12 May, the team tackled the grueling 100km course as they journeyed through footpaths, bridleways and national trails across the North and South Downs, before finally reaching the Brighton finish line 29 hours and 20 minutes later.

In addition to tackling the fitness challenge, the team raised more than £4,500 for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. The funds will help enable the Hospital to continue to provide world-class care for its young patients and their families as well as pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illness.

Commenting on the challenge, Martin Burke, head of fleet sales at Skoda UK said: “It was a tough task, but our training and preparation paid off and it was a fantastic feeling to cross the finish line. We’re delighted to have raised a great sum for Great Ormond Street and on behalf of the team I’d like to thank everyone who donated for their support and encouragement.”
