Halfords Autocentres has appointed Andrew Huntly to the newly created role of Business Development Director. Huntly will be responsible for fleet, B2B and affiliate sector sales. Huntly’s appointment supports Halfords Autocentres strategy to drive fleet and B2B business, demonstrating the growing importance of the fleet market to the brand.
Huntly brings more than 20 years experience to Halfords Autocentres and joins from Virgin Atlantic Airways where he was the European general manager responsible for growing B2B sales.
Bill Duffy, ceo, Halfords Autocentres, says: “Fleet currently represents about a quarter of Halfords Autocentres revenue and we are aiming to grow this in line with our overall business growth targets. With Andrew’s appointment we are investing to ensure that we have the right capabilities and resources to develop attractive propositions for our customers. Andrew’s extensive experience in driving business opportunities will be key to ensuring our ambitious targets are met. To support Andrew we are also expanding our B2B team of key account managers”
