GB Oil, which distributes fuels and lubricants, has appointed Keith Durrant to manage its activities in South East Anglia.

Durrant has held several senior managerial positions with leading petrochemical companies, including ICI, Burmah - Castol and Total.

He worked in a number of national locations before returning to the Ipswich area and employment with GB Oils, which he joined two years ago.

As part of his new role, Durrant will be responsible for managing oil distribution depots in Shefford, Letchworth, Cambridge, Braintree, and Hadleigh, plus the newly-constructed multi-million pound oil distribution terminal in Ipswich.

His primary objective will be to stimulate organic growth and elevate the Pace brand (GB Oil owns Pace Fuelcare) to become the first choice for customers across the region.
