Euro Car Parts invests in second warehouse for crash repair stock

Euro Car Parts has added a second storage facility to house its fast-growing Platinum Plus body panels and bumpers range.

A 10-year lease agreement with GE Capital Real Estate for the Tetron Point distribution unit in Swadlincote will meet the needs of its rapidly growing nationwide network – a further 10 branches have been confirmed to open sooner than originally planned and will now open in Q4 2012.

Managing director Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia said: “Our state-of-the-art 500,000 square foot National Distribution Centre in Tamworth opened only two years ago, so it is a sign of our remarkable progress that we already need significantly more capacity.

“Swadlincote is only 15 miles down the road, and will enable us to distribute even more efficiently.”
