A recently conducted independent survey showed Aston Barclay Group’s level of service and expertise in auctioning vehicles was top notch apart from a slight question mark over the sausages served at its Chelmsford site.

The company instantly addressed the meaty problem by sourcing award-winning sausages and burgers, produced less than 10 miles away from its Drover’s Way centre.

Martin Potter, general manager at Aston Barclay Chelmsford, said: “While we constantly deliver on our promise when auctioning their vehicles, it appears the quality of our sausages came under question.

“You could argue Aston Barclay Chelmsford is a car auction house and not a fast food outlet but we pride ourselves in the level of service we deliver to all customers and clients.

“We acknowledged the feedback and, as per usual, made sure no stone was left unturned in addressing the ‘issue’ to ensure that we offer the best service possible at all levels.”
