Towergate Insurance has teamed up with Abbey Legal Protection to launch a new commercial legal protection policy designed specifically for the transport and logistics industry.

Towergate Legal+ is a commercial legal protection product which has been introduced to give customers comprehensive legal cover for their business with the benefits of 24/7 legal advice and representation.

Key features and benefits of this product include cover for legal costs and expenses up to £250,000 on any one claim and European Economic Area covers for Criminal Prosecution, Property Disputes, Personal Injury and optional Contract Disputes cover.

Towergate Legal+ also gives customers unlimited free access to a 24/7 legal crisis helpline through to a solicitor in the event of a serious transport accident, and a 24/7 legal helpline for specialist UK advice covering Commercial Law, Road Transport Law, Operator Licensing, Freight Law, Employment Law, Health and Safety, Taxation and VAT enquiries.
