Iain Larkins has founded the Radius Law firm to provide commercially relevant law advice.
Larkins, former Mercedes-Benz Legal Chief of 14 years, has set up the practice to provide 'straightforward advice'.
He said: "The biggest saving will come from the commercial judgement. If we focus on the important factors rather than the irrelevant detail, the client gets the advice it needs and is not charged for the stuff that’s not important".
The firm's lawyers all work from home to reduce costs, and allow the company to provide value services. Fees are also agreed in advance and not charged by the minute.
Larkins was part of the Mercedes-Benz senior management team that established its own retail business, saw two rounds of the motor vehicle block exemption and most recently defended the OFT’s investigation into the commercial vehicle sector.
