Cobra UK has appointed Mike Pearce to the newly created position of business development director as it gears up for telematics and vehicle tracking growth.
Pearce will take on full responsibility for sales and marketing for Cobra at a time when it is set to launch Fleet Services into the car and commercial vehicle sectors, as well as further grow its share of the insurance-based telematics and vehicle tracking markets.
Pearce was previously contracts and business development director for Autologic Holdings where he was responsible for managing commercial relationships with brands such as GM, the AA, Avis and Enterprise.
Before that he worked in business services with Unisys, AT&T Istel and the Hawes Group and most recently delivered a major global branding project for the International Hotel Group.

Pearce joins Cobra on December 2, 2013.
