Next Generation Mobility GmbH has partnered with Traka to sell Traka Touch Key Management systems for pool vehicles and corporate car sharing schemes.
The system is available in conjunction with Next General Mobility's web-based application Fleetstar, which allows employees to book company vehicles for business and personal. It aims to generate maximum mobility with minimum number of vehicles.
Traka provides organisations with secure key cabinets to store Traka iFobs connected to physical keys.
To access iFobs, staff identify themselves at the automated cabinets via PIN, biometrics or smartcard.
Each iFob contains authorisation information to make sure keys are used by authorised personnel only and with full integration capability to ensure keys are returned and accounted for in a timely and controlled manner, together with recording of any faults found by the user with the asset or vehicle.
Traka Touch systems also improve auditing – with reports showing which staff accessed which keys, when they were taken and when they were returned.
Brenda Taylor, sales and marketing director at Traka, said: “Traka has achieved 50% growth YTD 2013 in the automotive sector and with partnerships such as this with Next Generation Mobility we are confident that we will see substantial further growth on the strength of Fleetster."
This cooperation marks the product launch of Fleetster in the UK.
