Staff at Tracker will sleep rough tomorrow night (November 29, 2013) to raise £40,000 for homeless charity, We Are Trinity.
The Big Sleep Out event, which starts at 6.30pm, is the fifth of its kind organised by Trinity and 200 people are expected to take part to show how hard it is to live on the streets.
Stephen Doran, managing director at Tracker, and David Wilson, sales, services and marketing director will be joined by colleagues Neil Dawson, Lee McGrath, Jane Barrett, Melanie Tidbury, Becci Goodwin and Laura Turner.
Wilson said: “With so much in the news at the moment about the increased use of food banks, rising numbers of homeless on the street and the general decline in living standards, it is even more important to support organisations like Trinity.
“This is going to be a very humbling experience for everyone taking part, but it’s a valuable way to raise awareness and funds for a very worthy cause.
“Trinity is a fantastic organisation, working tirelessly with homeless and vulnerable people at a local level, and by taking part in this event the Tracker team aims to help Trinity to continue with the vital work they do.
“We’re hoping everyone will lend their support to our rough sleepers by taking part, raising money and telling others about The Big Sleep Out.”
