Repair management company Repair Choice has launched its new repair deployment, authorisation and repair progress tracking software application called ‘myrepairchoice’.

The software is free to use, feature rich and securely connects fleet customers to their existing repair partners or to its own national network through its secure managed repair hub.

Philip Webb, general manager at Repair Choice, said: “The application is aimed at self- insured and high excess fleets and those wanting to manage accident and de-fleet repairs outside of the traditional insurer and accident management route.

“The application is in effect a concise and practical accident management tool but has the added benefit and inbuilt functionality to access and manage both traditional and fast track repair pricing and processing models.

“We believe any company adopting its use will quickly see clear and measurable cost and operational benefits.

“Our own evidence shows that our customers adopting a triage approach to repair deployment incorporating fixed cost matrix pricing and fast track repair processing saw consistent repair cost savings in the region of 32% and reduced vehicle off road times by an average 34%.

“These are figures that can’t be ignored and should be explored as part of any business strategy to reduce cost and improve fleet utilisation.”

The application aims to bring a deeper level of control and visibility for users, and allow core management information to be quickly accessible through the dashboard view.

It can be used centrally or across multiple site locations and by multiple users.
