Audi dealerships across the UK are now offering service at the click of a button.
Supported by Manheim Aftersales Solutions (MAS), Audi’s real-time, online service booking system is integrated into the owners’ area of the brand’s UK website.
The facility offers dealers the ability to maximise their workshop resources and efficiency.
In addition, Audi customers are able to take advantage of the convenience of real-time bookings and instant confirmation of appointments.
When logged in to the site, owners can book an appointment at any one of the five nearest Audi locations.
Having selected an Audi Centre, the user can then choose from three different types of service, as well as booking new tyres, an MOT, health check or general investigation.
After selecting a convenient date and time, options like courtesy vehicles, collection and delivery become available.
Additionally, users can request Audi Cam, where Audi Technicians record a video explaining any issues there may be with the car, and any required work can be authorised online.
Tim Baumfield, managing director of MAS, said: “The way in which dealerships interact with their customers has changed dramatically over the past few years. An increasingly mobile society is demanding the ability to make appointments at the click of a button (or swipe of a screen) at any time, day or night.
"Restricting customers to phoning between 9am and 5pm is a sure-fire way of losing out on business.
“With aftersales such a significant factor in the profitability of a dealership, it is vital to get the process of managing customer service right.
“Audi’s introduction of a real-time, online, service booking calendar is a real step forward for the industry.”

I wonder how many people will use this service. What is wrong speaking to someone over the phone?
