Citroën Contract Motoring (CCM) has introduced a fuel card in partnership with The Fuelcard People, who will administer the service.
The fuel card is available to its fleet car and light commercial vehicle customers, enabling them to enjoy lower petrol and diesel prices nationwide.
The Fuelcard People says users can expect to save up to 4p per litre on national average pump prices, up to 10p per litre on motorway refuelling.
The CCM fuel card is expected to be of particular interest to small and medium-size enterprise (SME) customers, with there being no minimum expenditure.
Duncan Chumley, head of CCM, said: “Our new fuel card initiative will enable SME customers to enjoy the benefit of significant fuel cost savings.
“We chose to partner with The Fuelcard People after examining the whole market.
“Nobody else offers the same combination of savings, service and security, allied with comprehensive fuel brand coverage nationwide.”
There is no annual fee for the CCM fuel card for the first year with a 50% discount offered during the following year.
Every customer will be allocated a named, dedicated account manager and other benefits include free zero liability cover, giving protection against card fraud and misuse, and free 24/7 online account access.
The interval between refuelling and invoicing means up to 14 days free credit (subject to routine credit checking), with no interest charged. The Fuelcard People says there is virtually no administration, with a single weekly VAT-compliant invoice covering all transactions for every vehicle, with payment made automatically by direct debit.
Steve Clarke, group marketing manager for The Fuelcard People, said: “CCM fuel card users will benefit from fixed weekly pricing, which applies whether refuelling is in the heart of a city, down a quiet country lane, at a supermarket or on the motorway.
“Although the service is designed with owner-drivers and smaller fleets in mind, larger businesses are equally welcome to take advantage of the benefits."
