The Toomey Leasing Group is sponsoring the RAF Typhoon display team in a two year deal that will see its brand hauling the event trailer to air-shows around the country.

MD Martin Wroe, who began his career in the RAF, said: “The Typhoon is a great example of British engineering at its best and the RAF will showcase the Typhoon to the general public throughout 2013.

"Toomey Leasing Group is delighted to be playing a small but important part in their efforts.”

The privately-owned group is seeing fleet growth again for the first time in 5 years and believes the time is right to start making its presence felt.

Wroe added: “We’ve experienced some fleet shrinkage through client down-sizing as well as some losses to rate-driven tenders, but have recently seen a number of these returning to us. These clients have found that the whole cost, including that of service levels and returns, doesn’t end with the finance rental and that a more empathetic approach to the business and its drivers is needed.”
