Shrewsbury based hire company Jolly Good Van Hire has moved to the former Shukers Land Rover site in Bayston Hill, on the crossroads of the A49 Hereford Road and Lyth Hill Road.
The firm had previously shared premises with a nearby used car dealership.
Manager Jason King said the company had grown so much over the four years since it began that they had no choice but to move.
He said: “The new depot is in a really prominent position on the main road and, not only gives us a bigger presence, it also has easy access for our customers.
“The move to new premises is the next stage in the growth of the business, which began only four years ago.
“While we have come a long way from hiring out vans only, our values of excellent personal service and high quality vehicles remain unchanged.
“We are a local business serving our local community, our new depot will only enhance the service we can give.”
King said the new premises would allow him to showcase his full fleet at the new premises. He said his 28-day rolling hire option means he is serving companies across the county and beyond as the firms are not tied in for a long period.
He said as many families had reduced the number of vehicles to one some families then hired a second car when it was needed as part of their Jolly Flexi scheme.
“This is certainly an exciting time for both myself and everyone involved in the business. Of course as the business expands, there will be more job opportunities available.
“The new premises will certainly catch the eye of commuters along the A49 and I look forward to welcoming customers old and new to the new depot."
