A new document and image upload feature has been added to Epyx’s 1Link Service Network e-commerce platform.

It allows suppliers to add pictures of vehicles or scans of documentation at the authorisation stage of a service, maintenance or repair job, providing important additional information for maintenance controllers making sign-off decisions.

These documents and images can also be used to provide evidence for fleet compliance for all vehicles and plant within the fleet profile.

The enhanced level of documentation allows work authorisation to be made more quickly by fleets.

Kyle Truman, head of marketing at Epyx, said: “This is a simple yet effective enhancement to 1link Service Network that will provide important visual evidence on which fleets can base authorisations, meaning faster, more efficient decision making for everyone involved in the process.”

1link Service Network is now in used by fleets totalling more than two and a half million vehicles to process service and maintenance bought from around 18,000 franchise dealers, independent garages and fast fits.
