Five recovery trucks worth £230k are the newest additions to TCW Group, as the vehicle repair network invests to build the infrastructure needed for its ambitious nationwide expansion.
The Isuzu N75 190 chassis cabs from Paynes Garages come with one fully enclosed curtain sided vehicle and four custom-built Roger Dyson twin deck TR3 TDLW transloaders. They will be used group-wide to recover damaged vehicles, return repaired vehicles and transport replacement vehicles for customers, improving TCW Group’s overall service.
Adding to the repair network’s current fleet, these particular models were selected owing to their reputation for reliability and quality, coupled with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty for the chassis units and a 3,100kg payload capability.
Richard Howe, TCW Group operations manager, said: "The fleet has been built to our specifications to aid the secure and efficient collection and delivery of vehicles across the country. The trucks will greatly improve our flexibility and the service we can provide to our customers as we embark on nationwide growth."
Security is vital for TCW Group which, as a manufacturer approved bodyshop, conducts a high number of prestige vehicle repairs.
Roger Dyson, managing director of Roger Dyson, said: "Our stylish custom-made twin deck transloaders are highly versatile for vehicle transportation so are an ideal option for TCW Group. Capable of transporting up to two cars safely, they are built as a steel and aluminium fabrication complete with easy slide out loading ramps, rear towing equipment and an electric loading winch and safety lighting."
Speaking of the rigid Isuzu N75 190 chassis cabs, Satish Renuka, Isuzu Sales Manager at Paynes Garages (Main Ford and Isuzu Truck Dealers) of Hinckley in Leicestershire, added: "They are payload-efficient and have the benefits of power, comfort and economy. Our warranty also provides reassurance as the miles mount and we are sure they will make a significant difference to TCW Group as the company grows."
TCW Group recently announced plans to double its repair network sites and has undergone extensive rebranding across all its current locations. The new vehicle livery designed by Gingermonkeys Creative UK and fitted by Race By Design reflects the bodyshop network’s new forward-thinking and innovative identity, says TCW Group.
