Technology provider Codeweavers has created a bespoke IT platform for Alphabet to support the launch of its new broker channel.
The icon system, which was developed in four months, is designed to enable finance brokers to provide a full range of business user finance products.
Alphabet’s seven pilot broker partners were involved in the developing and testing phase of the system and each broker underwent a rigorous approval process to ensure they understood the system.
“The target was for icon to be the default system of choice for our partners and the feedback is that this is being achieved,” said Gavin Davies, head of indirect dales at Alphabet.
Roland Schaack (pictured), managing director of Codeweavers, said: “The all-new functionality and development processes we have created are benefits we can provide to other manufacturers, lenders and dealers.
“During the tender process, Alphabet was impressed by our unique platform, tools and capabilities and, above all, our desire to develop something distinctive and ‘edgy’ that would excite their customers. They are delighted with the initial phase now delivered and we are all looking forward to working side by side to take the system further forward.”
Now live, icon provides the seven pilot partners with a system that is branded at partner level, delivering a wide range of features in a smart intuitive and easily used format that enables brokers to support customers from sale through to fleet portfolio management.
