Neil Atherton has been appointed as the new Sales and Marketing Director for Autoglass.
Atherton first joined Autoglass in 2005 as finance director, with responsibility for finance, IT, risk & compliance, property and fleet. In his new role, he will have responsibility for continuing to build the brand’s offer for consumers, fleets and insurers.
He will continue to report to Matthew Mycock, managing director. Paul Lewis, finance director for sister company, AutoRestore, will be taking over as finance director from Neil in a new, dual role.
Atherton is a graduate of Sheffield University and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Atherton said: “I’m very proud to be picking up the reins of such an iconic and well-loved brand in my new role and would like to thank André for everything he has achieved. I look forward to continuing to focus on providing the best possible service to our customers and supporting continued investment in new technologies that will benefit customers in the long run”.
Matthew Mycock, managing director added: “In addition to his impressive commercial skills there is scarcely anyone who knows Autoglass and the vehicle glass repair and replacement market better than Neil. This makes him the natural choice to continue to strengthen our relationships with insurance and fleet partners”.
