Avis Budget Group has announced the appointment of Mark Servodidio as managing director for the UK.
Mark will be responsible for driving further success across the UK business, overseeing revenue generation including the B2B, consumer and intermediary business, operations and fleet management with responsibility for more than 1,250 employees.
Mark succeeds Kaye Ceille who has become president of Zipcar, the world's leading car sharing network.
Larry De Shon, president of Avis Budget EMEA, said: “We are pleased to welcome Mark on board to lead our UK organisation during a very exciting time as we work hard to improve the customer experience and our profitability. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the Avis Budget Group and has been instrumental in growing the business across EMEA. We fully expect the UK business to thrive under his leadership.”
Previously, Servodidio held leadership roles within Avis Budget Group including the most recent position of executive vice president for franchise and corporate services in EMEA. This followed his role as chief administrative officer, responsible for worldwide human resources and for properties, facilities, construction, airport concession agreements, environmental affairs and supplier diversity.
Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Servodidio was at Kraft Foods leading HR for its Nabisco division's sales and supply chain unit. He has also had several leadership roles at Pepsi-Cola and Frito-Lay.
Mark moved to the UK from New Jersey in February 2013 with his wife and two youngest children.
