Manheim will put 1,001 ex-fleet, finance and commercial vehicles from Lex Autolease through its Colchester centre tomorrow (March 8, 2014).
The listing for the auction features a wide range of cars, along with 200 LCVs.
To help get ready for the summer months, there will be 100 convertibles going under the hammer, including a 53 plate Lotus Elise with a mileage of 39,093 and an 11 plate Audi A5 with a mileage of only 15,731.
Buyers attending the auction will be able to take advantage of half price delivery fees on all vehicles, as well as a free breakfast on registration and a range of different spot prizes throughout the day.
For anyone unable to attend the Saturday sale in person, all of the 1,001 vehicles will also be available through Manheim’s online bidding platform, Simulcast, which provides buyers with the ability to instantly preview available new stock online, improved vehicle grading and the option to pay online.
Glenn Sturley, vehicle remarketing director at Lex Autolease, said: “We have been holding these mega sales at Manheim for a number of years now and they have all proven to be incredibly successful.
"In fact, the last time that we did a similar auction in October 2013, we saw in excess of 1,000 trade and consumer buyers registering at the auction hall and online.
" I am confident that the combination of a diverse range of high quality vehicles, the unique four-lane set up that Manheim Colchester provides and the range of discounts and spot prizes that Manheim offer on the day will help to make sure that this year’s event is the best that we have ever had.”
Mark Taylor, general manager at Manheim Colchester, said: “The last Lex Autolease sale in October 2013 saw over £7.1m worth of stock go under the hammer.
"The range of vehicles that we have on offer this time will provide buyers with the opportunity to purchase a mix of stock to suit a wide range of budgets, which will hopefully mean that this year’s sale will be our best yet and break last year’s record.”
