The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) is has appointed Autoparts group factor manager Craig McCracken to the IAAF Council.
The IAAF Council is a voluntary group of senior aftermarket executives that come together regularly to debate industry issues and set IAAF policy.
The sign-up is another massive endorsement for the IAAF and follows on from the introduction of the first ever round of member only network meetings and the Federation’s decision to exhibit at the CV show, promoting the independent aftermarket.
Autoparts UK is one of the UK’s fastest growing motor factors. It has 12 branches spanning from Inverness down to the Midlands. It is part of Arnold Clark, Europe’s largest privately owned dealership group.
Brian Spratt, IAAF chief executive, said: “It is excellent to have a very willing contributor to the IAAF Council. I look forward to welcoming Craig at the next IAAF Council meeting and I’m sure the entire IAAF will benefit from his experience and expertise.”
Craig McCracken, Autoparts group factor manager, said: “Autoparts has been a member of IAAF for the past 16 years and we’re delighted to be playing a very active role in the IAAF and aim to provide another outlook on how the independent aftermarket can continue to thrive and develop.”
